Watercolor Classes
Class times: Every Wednesday
Beginner 10AM-12 PM
Intermediate/Advanced 12:15PM to 2:15PM
Class costs/fees: $15 a class plus supplies. I have supplies for the first few lessons. You will need to buy your own supplies but I can help you know what to purchase. Or if you have your own supplies, I can show you what I like to use. We also have a class book that we use for lessons. It usually costs about $15.
Who is eligible: Anyone who wants to learn. Please contact me for anyone younger than 16.
Description of class (or classes where applicable): The weekly lessons are chosen by the class and our goals. We select a book to help guide and focus our lessons. Often the book is by a favorite artist. We also concentrate on the elements of design. There are a variety of lessons including painting along with me. Some weeks the students bring in their own projects to work on. The class is flexible and full of students who are supportive and encouraging of one another. Many have been coming for over 10 years.
Regularly occurring performances: As a class we have done art shows at the American Fork Library and Highland City Building. We have also published a class calendar and class book.
